Tracking our indigenous, minority & socially responsible supply chain partners - Message to Suppliers:
Our commitment to sustainable and socially responsible supply chain is expressed in our company Corporate Responsibility Policy which reflects our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact.
‘We conduct our business in an open, honest and ethical manner as described in our Code of Conduct and our integrity framework, OneWayTM’
‘We will actively strive to implement socially responsible supply chain practices and anti-corruption practices, working closely with our clients and suppliers as partners’
Our customers are increasingly looking to select sustainable and socially responsible supply chain partners and supporting local business in the communities where they operate. There is a trend towards reporting and tracking participation levels for various business attributes i.e. Indigenous (IOB) or minority owned business (MI), etc.
When we are responsible for selecting suppliers on behalf of our customers, it is important we understand suppliers eligibility for these business classifications.
Hence it is important for you to accurately represent your company classification where eligible, which increases your visibility as a preferred supplier. Please take this into consideration when allocating your business classifications during registration.
