Devon Energy has awarded a contract for construction services, on a reimbursable basis, for the Jackfish 2 Project to Cord WorleyParsons, the Construction Division of WorleyParsons Canada Ltd.

Cord WorleyParsons will be providing prefabrication and piperack and equipment module construction services for the Central Processing Facility of this 35,000 barrels per day steam assisted gravity drainage project.
Work is scheduled to begin at the WorleyParsons module assembly site in Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada during November and be completed during the third quarter of 2009. The estimated revenue to be received by WorleyParsons under the contract is $48 million ($CAD).
WorleyParsons Chief Executive Officer John Grill commented – “This contract builds on the contracts for front end engineering design, detailed engineering design and procurement support previously awarded to WorleyParsons companies by Devon Energy for the Jackfish 2 Project.
