WorleyParsonsCord, the construction operations of WorleyParsons Canada, has been awarded a contract for construction services at Suncor Energy’s Firebag SAGD facility.
Construction Services Contract award
The scope of work is for installation of Stage 4 well pads along with associated gathering lines at Suncor’s steam assisted gravity drainage facility near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Work on this contract will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion in 2012.
WorleyParsons’ Chief Executive Officer, John Grill, commented: “WorleyParsons is very pleased to extend our relationship with Suncor through the provision of construction services at the Firebag facility.”
