WorleyParsons is pleased to announce that Colt WorleyParsons, its Canadian subsidiary, has been awarded a contract by Suncor Energy for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the Firebag Stage 4 Pads project. The services will be provided on a reimbursable basis with the margin subject to a risk - reward formula.

The project is a key element of Suncor Energy’s plan to deliver increased bitumen supply from the Firebag in-situ facility located near Fort McMurray in northern Alberta, Canada. Stage 4 construction is scheduled to begin in late 2008 and the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010.
The contract, with expected revenue of C$190M for Colt WorleyParsons, extends the engineering, procurement and construction support provided on previous project phases over the past eighteen months.
