The Executive Committee is the senior leadership team for WorleyParsons. It comprises the Chief Executive Officer and five Group leaders with overall global responsibility in the areas of Finance, Internal Procurement and Communications, Legal, Risk and Information Management; Operations; Development; Delivery Support and People. The Executive Committee provides Group-wide support to our Chief Executive Officer and to our locations enhancing delivery of professional services and value to our customers, shareholders and employees.
John Grill
Chief Executive Officer
John is the Chief Executive Officer of the Group. In1971 he became Chief Executive of the entity that ultimately became WorleyParsons Limited - Wholohan Grill and Partners, after having joined Esso Australia in 1968. This specialised consulting practice acquired the business of Worley Engineering Pty Limited in Australia in 1987. Following group restructuring, in 2002 Worley Group Limited listed on the ASX. In 2004, Worley Group Limited acquired Parsons E&C Corporation, a US-based global project services company, and changed its name to WorleyParsons Limited. In March 2007, the Company then acquired the Colt Group in Canada substantially increasing the Group's capability in the upstream and downstream components of oil sands. John has personal expertise in every aspect of project delivery for projects in the resources and energy industries. He has been directly involved with most of the Group’s major clients and remains closely involved at Board level with the Group's joint ventures.
Andrew Wood
Group Managing Director - Finance/CFO
Andrew is responsible for Group-wide direction and support to the business functions of Finance, Information Management, Internal Procurement and Communications, Legal and Risk. He was previously responsible for the Australian and New Zealand operations. Andrew has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and managed the successful acquisition of Parsons E&C Corporation in November 2004 and The Colt Companies in March 2007. Previously, he was responsible for WorleyParsons' early expansion into Thailand and the Middle East, Canada and Chile in his capacity as Managing Director for International Operations. Andrew holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and Graduate Diplomas in Financial Management and Labour Management Relations. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
Stuart Bradie
Group Managing Director - Operations
Stuart is responsible for leading the Group’s global operations with a focus on our customers and locations. He was previously responsible for operations across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East and has overseen the rapid growth and development of WorleyParons’ businesses in these regions. Prior to joining WorleyParsons, Stuart held Managing Director and Country Manager roles with PT Kvaerner Indonesia and Kvaerner Philippines. Stuart has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University.
Iain Ross
Group Managing Director – Development
Iain is responsible for Strategy for the Group and leading the Customer Sector Groups and is also responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions. He began his career in the UK North Sea working for Conoco (UK) in 1983 and has worked for international oil and gas companies including Mcdermott International Inc, John Brown and Amec Engineering. Iain joined the Company in 1994 as manager of the Brunei office. With a broad technical and geographical skill base, Iain has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
David Steele
Group Managing Director - Delivery
David has over 25 years experience across a wide range of sectors including oil & gas, petrochemicals, minerals processing , power generation and transmission and other infrastructure. David is responsible for the establishment and ongoing operation of the newly created Delivery Support Group. This global function has responsibility to support the operations in successful delivery of projects, Improve contracts and consulting assignments for our customers. Prior to this role, David was responsible for our operations in the Middle East, China and South East Asia, having held a number of positions since joining WorleyParsons, including being responsible for the Infrastructure sector, and the Worley Power business prior to the Parsons acquisition. Prior to joining the Company in 1999, David held positions with ABB and Rolls-Royce Industrial Power (Pacific). David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration and is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.
Barry Bloch
Group Managing Director - People
Barry joined WorleyParsons in May 2011 and is responsible for leading the delivery of all People-related services and support across the Group. Barry has previously worked in senior leadership roles for both a major global mining house and for leading global professional services firms. He has worked in the human resources field for over 20 years across 35 countries and multiple industries, with a primary focus on heavy industrial and engineering-related organisations in both developed and developing nations. Barry's experience also includes providing specialist, strategic human resources support to numerous corporate transactions (i.e. mergers and acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, restructures). He holds a Masters degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and has been registered as a psychologist in Australia, United Kingdom and South Africa.
