WorleyParsons has been rated at the level of Leading in Australia Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) 2016 research report, Corporate Reporting in Australia: Disclosure of sustainability risks among S&P/ASX200 companies. The Leading rating is the highest of five categories.
The report benchmarks the public disclosures of S&P/ASX200 companies with reference to material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks.
Background to the research
ACSI conducts research into ASX200 companies on behalf of its members, 29 Australian superannuation funds and six international pension funds, which together manage over $1.5 trillion in investments. ACSI states that their “members firmly believe that ESG risks can have a significant impact on the long-term performance of the companies in which they invest. As such, thorough disclosure of information regarding the management of these risks is integral to quality investment decision-making.”
