A joint venture between WorleyParsons and Foster Wheeler also led the EPCM delivery of all infrastructure and onshore facilities for the project.
The Pluto LNG Project involves production of gas from five to six wells connected via subsea tieback to an offshore facility. The offshore facility will remove water and export the gas via a 180km long, 36” carbon steel submarine pipeline to a shore crossing at the Burrup Peninsula and from there via an onshore pipeline to the LNG processing plant.
The onshore processing operations will include primary separation at the slugcatcher, gas treatment, condensate stabilization and natural gas liquefaction.
