The concept takes advantage of treated pipeline gas to minimize the required infrastructure. It is targeted for the United States Gulf Coast and the United States/Canadian West Coast but may be adapted for other locations.
The concept includes two 50 percent inlet gas treating/amine modules, one dehydration/LNG offloading module, one BOG/Fuel gas compression module, four 1.0-1.2 mtpa liquefaction modules, two utility modules, a power generation module, an electrical/MCC/control room and one set of living quarters.
The topsides are suitable for a 64m x 320m hull having 250,000 m3 of storage for LNG and additional storage for condensate. The concept is suitable for nearshore, jettyside in protected waters. Minimal modification is required for deepwater offshore applications receiving pipeline quality gas through a SPM turret system.
